As with many other organisations in the sector, UKFIET is being affected by budgetary constraints. Therefore, we have made the difficult decision to pause our external activities at the end of July 2026 (including our networking events, publishing of blogs and posting social media content) while we re-assess our priorities.
We still stand firmly by our vision and mission. But we are being forced to rethink how we deliver on this for our members.
We will be consulting with members to inform our decisions on how best to move forward. This will include a consultation at the autumn Annual General Meeting (early October but exact date to be confirmed soon).
We have some blogs in the pipeline which will be published throughout the next month of August. But we are not able to accept any new blogs from 1 August 2026 until decisions are made.
We are fully committed to our biennial conference – this will go ahead as usual in September 2027 and we hope to see many of you there.
We apologise for any inconvenience. We will provide an update on our website and through our newsletters and social media as soon as we can.
