Join the Research for Equitable Access and Learning (REAL) Centre at the University of Cambridge, UK, and the University of the Western Cape (UWC), South Africa, for a joint seminar series exploring equity and pedagogy in times of global crises.

This seminar will explore how teacher agency shapes the implementation of national education reforms in the Global South, drawing on evidence from Ethiopia, Kenya, Pakistan and Tanzania. It will pay particular attention to how teacher agency is activated in initial teacher education and how it is realised in diverse classroom settings, focusing particularly on how agency supports equity and social justice in and through education.
