We are pleased to invite you to join us for a discussion on improving foundational learning in emergencies on the margins of the 2022 ECOSOC Humanitarian Affairs Segment (HAS) entitled, Learning in Emergencies- best practices in improving foundational learning in emergencies.

The event builds upon the HAS theme of, ‘Strengthening humanitarian assistance: good practices and mobilizing action in the application of international humanitarian law, the recovery from the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic and in response to the climate crisis’ and it will provide an opportunity to present best practices and solutions to scale up proven interventions in emergencies that are improving foundational learning for marginalized children.

This virtual side event is scheduled to take place Wednesday, 22 June from 3-4.30 PM NY EST time. Kindly use the link here to register for the event. If you would like to make an intervention kindly email kcurtiss@unicef.org by Monday, 20th June. The concept note will be shared in due course.
