  of Switzerland\, Save the Children and UNICEF\n(Simultaneous translations
  will be available in French/Spanish/Arabic)\nWe are pleased to invite you
  to join us for a discussion on improving foundational learning in emergen
 cies on the margins of the 2022 ECOSOC Humanitarian Affairs Segment (HAS) 
 entitled\, Learning in Emergencies- best practices in improving foundation
 al learning in emergencies.\nThe event builds upon the HAS theme of\, ‘S
 trengthening humanitarian assistance: good practices and mobilizing action
  in the application of international humanitarian law\, the recovery from 
 the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic and in response to the climate
  crisis’ and it will provide an opportunity to present best practices an
 d solutions to scale up proven interventions in emergencies that are impro
 ving foundational learning for marginalized children.\nThis virtual side e
 vent is scheduled to take place Wednesday\, 22 June from 3-4.30 PM NY EST
