The Accountability Research Center (ARC), as a Global Learning Partner of the Education Out Loud program, is hosting a webinar to discuss the evolving role of civil society in national education policy in the Global South.

An expert panel of scholars and practitioners will discuss topics such as the role of social movements in knowledge-making, south-south partnerships of CSOs to promote learning outcomes, transnational support for national education coalitions, and the experiences of grassroots organizing in shrinking civic spaces.

The webinar will be forward-looking, seeking to build on what scholars and practitioners know about education advocacy in the global South, but also highlight both those newly emerging and often ignored civil society actors in the advocacy sphere.
