In observance of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence (GBV), the Inter-agency Network for Education in Emergencies (INEE), Education Cannot Wait (ECW), and UNICEF invite you to a webinar launching the Menu of Measures for Gender-Based Violence Risk Mitigation in the Education in Emergencies Sector.
The launch event will convene key stakeholders to highlight the critical importance of GBV risk mitigation in EiE, particularly in the current context, and to promote awareness and uptake of the new Menu of Measures.
This online event will also be an occasion for key stakeholders to:
- Reflect on the importance of GBV risk mitigation in EiE programmes, despite funding cuts and the humanitarian reset challenges
- Identify how to strengthen accountability for GBV risk mitigation in the sector
- Reflect on the key roles of stakeholders – including the Global Education Cluster, the Inter-agency Network for EiE, Education Cannot Wait, UNICEF, Ministries of Education at the country level, donors, etc.
