Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, organisations in the education sector have adopted new approaches to reach out to students who are at home due to school closures. When schools reopen, we will need to continue in this spirit of innovation to ensure that children and young people can catch up on lost learning and stay safe.

In this webinar, SPARK Schools’ and PEAS Zambia’ will share their experience of reopening schools in South Africa and Zambia respectively. PEAS Uganda will also share how they are preparing to reopen, and all attendees will be invited to contribute on how to ensure schools are safe environments which provide the support students need to thrive. We hope to spark an informative conversation between education organisations that helps prepare schools to open safely, effectively and promptly when the Government of the Republic of Uganda provides further advice and guidance on school reopening.

Please feel free to share with anyone in your network who you feel would also be interested in joining this discussion.
