BAICE Conference Call for Abstracts

Call for Abstracts deadline: 23:59 (UK time) Monday 18 March 2024

Dates of conference: 3-5 September 2024

Location: University of Sussex, Brighton

Conference theme: Transgression and transformation: (re)bordering education in times of conflict & crises

More details on the Call for Papers.

BAICE is inviting submissions for individual papers, symposia, workshops, posters/exhibitions and creative sessions.

To maximise participation in the conference and to avoid timetable clashes, BAICE requests that each individual is only a named presenter on either an individual paper or a symposia submission. You may present in one of the above and a creative session, but you will need to let organisers know if both of these are accepted through the blind review process so they can schedule accordingly.

All BAICE members, and anyone with an interest in international and comparative education, are welcome to participate in the conference whether they submit an abstract or not. Registration will open soon.

More details on the Abstract guidelines and review process is available here.

More information about the conference theme and five sub-themes is available here.

Conference Co-Chairs are: Linda Morrice, Jo Westbrook and Máiréad Dunne, University of Sussex.
