The Centre for Education and International Development is delighted to host the first CEID Seminar of the 2017/18 year.


In this seminar, Elaine Unterhalter and Amy North will present findings from their recently published bookEducation, poverty and global goals for gender equality. This will be followed by a discussion focussing on the politics of implementation and how global frameworks on gender, education and poverty are interpreted and enacted in local settings.

    Thanks for sharing a helpful post. Gender-based inequality is a complicated issue and there are many factors that contribute to it, women are sometimes quick to blame men for the issue. So, to solve such problems, many of the non-profit organizations like mission humanitaire ( ) are working hard to make people aware of the gender inequality. To save the humanity, one can take a great step towards the development of the community.
