 d program\, is hosting a webinar to discuss the evolving role of civil soc
 iety in national education policy in the Global South.\nAn expert panel of
  scholars and practitioners will discuss topics such as the role of social
  movements in knowledge-making\, south-south partnerships of CSOs to promo
 te learning outcomes\, transnational support for national education coalit
 ions\, and the experiences of grassroots organizing in shrinking civic spa
 ces.\nThe webinar will be forward-looking\, seeking to build on what schol
 ars and practitioners know about education advocacy in the global South\, 
 but also highlight both those newly emerging and often ignored civil socie
