 nd crisis settings

 e ERICC Research Consortium and INEE\, this event brings together experts 
 to engage in dialogue on data needs in education in conflict and crisis ed
 ucation\, as data issues play a crucial role in driving evidence-based edu
 cational decision-making and the design of policies and programs in respon
 se to the needs of children in these settings. Though data is often acknow
 ledged as a priority\, many challenges remain\, including difficulties in 
 collecting reliable data due to insecurity and capacity barriers\, represe
 ntation of affected groups in a data system\, collaboration and data align
 ments to policy and program interventions\, accessibility of information t
 o non-data specialists\, and lack of funding for relevant data initiatives
 \, among many others.\nWith these challenges in mind\, this discussion aim
 s to gain more contextual and nuanced understandings of the current state 
 of data and data systems amidst conflict and crisis\, and convenes global 
 thought leaders\, policymakers\, educational researchers\, and practitione
 rs for an in-depth discussion on data in refugee education\, emerging find
 ings on EiE data systems from cross country and political economy analyses
 \, and the use of data to inform educational policy and interventions\, as
