 Forum coming up in December 2023\, the REAL Centre is pleased to announce 
 a seminar series for this term focusing largely on education in emergencie
 s\, and the rights and experiences of those affected by crises. Details of

 n refugee youth's strategies to navigate uncertainty\nDr Hiba Salem\, Rese

 ERE\nRefugee youth increasingly live in protracted displacement\, navigati
 ng their trajectories in deep states of uncertainty. This seminar draws on
  research with Syrian refugee youth in Jordan and the strategies they exer
 cised outside of schools to manage their daily lives and maintain a sense 
 of hope. Building on these findings\, the seminar discusses the role of ho
 pe in refugee education and the importance of educational practices which 
 respond to young people's needs in uncertainty.\nAll REAL Centre seminars
