 investigates teacher accountability in two district urban environments - M
 umbai in India and Kathmandu in Nepal. It explores how teachers in differe
 nt types of schools (public\, private-aided\, and private-unaided) navigat
 e their processional responsibilities within the broader accountability fr
 ameworks imposed by educational authorities and societal expectations.\nPr
 esenters \nArtemio Arturo Cortez Ochoa is a Lecturer in Education at the 
 Department of Education\, University of Bath. He was previously a Lecturer
  in Education at the University of Bristol and a Research Associate at the
  REAL Centre\, University of Cambridge. His research interests include edu
 cational leadership\, policy\, research\, and practice related to quality 
 education and educational improvement in global south contexts\, as well a
 s school leaders’ and teachers’ initial education and continuing profe
 ssional development.\nAntonia Voigt is a Doctoral candidate at the School 
 of Education\, University of Bristol. She completed her Masters in Educati
 on in the Comparative Education and International Development (CEID) pathw
 ay at Moray House in 2020. Her research interests include educational ineq
 ualities\, quality education\, educational policy and innovation\, particu
 larly in the Asia Pacific Region.\n&nbsp\;
