DESCRIPTION:7 December\, 2-3pm\nJoin the Open University to explore the con
 nection between health and education through a case study on the experienc
 es of young mothers in Nigeria.\nIn Nigeria\, adolescent pregnancy and mot
 herhood are becoming common experiences within educational spaces. Yet\, i
 n-school pregnancy and motherhood and how it intersects with health outcom
 es are often overlooked and silenced in policies\, interventions\, and soc
 ial discourses. This has significant implications for the lives of pregnan
 t teenagers and unmarried young mothers.\nDr Ayomide Oluseye\, an ESRC Res
 earch Fellow\, will share findings and recommendations from research with 
 young women and stakeholder workshops with professionals in the health and
  educational sector in South-West Nigeria. During the seminar\, we will de
 lve into unheard stories of young women’s challenges\, open up dialogue 
 on the intersections of health and education\, and consider the opportunit
