 sive analysis of the effects on education due to the war on Gaza\, and the
  escalation of militarised operations by Israeli forces and settler attack
 s in the occupied West Bank\, including East Jerusalem.\nThe research desc
 ribes how war\, violence\, hunger and trauma have eradicated any sense of 
 normality for Palestinian children and young people\, undermining the righ
 t to their education. It also shows the steadfastness of Palestinian teach
 ers who are making every effort to continue education\, despite the effect
 s on their own wellbeing.\nThe research calculates the extent of learning 
 loss\, and the cost of restoring the teaching workforce for Palestine\, co
 upled with the support needed for post-war learning recovery.\nThe study s
 tresses an urgent need for international funding and action\, while ensuri
 ng Palestinians lead the recovery and reconstruction of their education sy
 stem.\nEvent organised by the Research for Equitable Access and Learning (
