DESCRIPTION:3 March 6:30-7:30am GMT\nThe Journal of International Cooperati
 on in Education (JICE)\, established in 1998 at Hiroshima University\, Jap
 an\, is published annually for the past 24 years. It has recently changed 
 its status from an in-house university journal to an open-access journal h
 osted by Emerald Publishing. The Journal\, with diverse Editorial Board me
 mbers\, is founded on the ethos to problematise the Eurocentric mode of ed
 ucational development and knowledge generation in the field.\nWe are pleas
 ed to invite you to our first webinar to introduce the renewed JICE.\nPlea
 se register here. Even if you cannot make the above time\, those who are r
 egistered will have access to the recording after the webinar.\n***\nAims 
 and Scope:\nThe Journal of International Cooperation in Education (JICE) i
 s a peer-reviewed\, open-access journal that engages with unconventional a
 pproaches to educational development and knowledge generation. Embracing u
 ntapped intellectual resources to problematise the dominant mode of policy
 -making and practices in the global South\, the Editors welcome papers tha
 t:\n\n	Reflect and analyse the past\, present and future of the global edu
 cational policy architecture from unconventional critical perspectives\;\n
 	Discuss sustainable forms and practices of education in the global South 
 drawing from critiques of the dominant development paradigm\; and\n	Bring 
 voices of diverse stakeholders involved in International Cooperation in Ed
 ucation such as practitioners\, grassroots organisations\, and policymaker
 s in addition to scholars\;\n	In an effort to suggest an alternative mode 
 of development\, the Editors encourage authors to challenge the dominant a
 pproach to academic knowledge production\; we welcome contributions that t
 ransgress the conventional forms of scholarship in its analysis and/or pre
 sentation.\n\nJICE publishes original research articles based on empirical
  data\, as well as theoretical\, conceptual and methodological papers\, re
 search notes and book reviews.
