SUMMARY:Lessons learned from the Girls' Education Challenge
DESCRIPTION:Tuesday 13 May 14:00-15:00 BST\nRegister here\nAs the work on t
he Girls’ Education Challenge (GEC) draws to a close\, the Independent E
valuation (IE) team (including Tetra Tech International Development\, Fab
Inc and the REAL Centre) has published its final study report\, focusing o
n the lessons learned from both Phase I and Phase II of the FCDO's flagshi
p girls' education programme.\nThe study has assessed how the GEC evolved
in its approach to reaching marginalised girls and its approach to evaluat
ion and learning. It is framed by two overarching key learning questions:\
n\n	How and why did the approach to reaching the most marginalised change
over the life of the GEC? What are the lessons learned from these changes
and related recommendations for future education programmes?\n	How and why
did the approach to evaluation and learning generated by the IE\, Fund Ma
nager (FM) and Implementing Partners (IPs) change over the life of the GEC
? What are the lessons learned from these changes?\n\nPrior to the webinar
\, you can read the full report and its study briefs here: Girls’ Educat
ion Challenge – Lessons learned .
