ABOUT THE EVENT

Learning outcomes in many low- and middle-income countries are poor and many of the efforts to improve these outcomes have been pilot programs which, while successful, have proven difficult to implement at a larger scale. The Learning at Scale study, led by RTI International with support from the Center for Global Development, identifies eight existing programs that have demonstrated impact at scale in improving learning outcomes and highlights the features that have made these programs successful. The study focuses on the instructional strategies and supports that improve learning outcomes at scale in LMICs, as well as the characteristics of the systems that have enabled their success. These findings are especially essential now due to the impacts of COVID-19 on education and the need to remedy learning losses.

Join the Center for Global Development and RTI International as we share the preliminary findings from RTI’s Learning at Scale interim report and discuss its implications. This discussion will feature Learning at Scale partners who will highlight their approaches and keys to their programs’ success.
