 y-level efforts to promote learning equity requires the formulation of key
  indicators that measure equity in and through education\, and connect wit
 h other sets of indicators that play an important role in shaping opportun
 ity\, such as wealth\, gender\, location\, or health and well-being. These
  indicators can be accessed through various databases and information pane
 ls\, such as the World Database on Inequality in Education (WIDE)\, the So
 utheast Asia Primary Learning Metrics (SEA-PLM)\, the Gini Index applied t
 o learning\, and the Regional Comparative and Explanatory Study (ERCE)\, a
 mong others.\nThis debate will review the strengths and limits of the data
  sets currently available and interrogate their capacity to drive policy c
 hange.\n&nbsp\;
