SUMMARY:Evidence to Action: Leveraging on ecosystem players and platforms t
 o scale evidence use
DESCRIPTION:12 February\, 12:00 GMT\nREGISTER HERE\nThe Unlocking Data Init
iative is a collaborative effort led by the Zizi Afrique Foundation\, in p
artnership with Education Sub-Saharan Africa (ESSA)\, EdTech Hub\, Effecti
ve Basic Services (eBase)\, and the University of Malawi’s Center for Ed
ucational Research and Training (CERT) to enhance access to and utilisatio
n of education data across Africa. By fostering a community of practice am
ong African scholars\, NGOs\, national statistics offices\, and policymake
rs\, the initiative seeks to improve data availability and analytical capa
city\, thereby driving educational improvements for young people.\nUnlocki
ng Data: Scaling up Uses and Users of Data in Education Systems\, is commi
tted to harnessing the power of Foundational Learning data to improve educ
ational outcomes. Through situational analyses\, we aim to provide a compr
ehensive understanding of the current state of foundational learning and i
dentify effective strategies for interventions.\nSiloed data hinders progr
ess and therefore we have to build a collaborative data ecosystem to drive
evidence-based improvements in foundational learning.\nWith this in mind\
, we are pleased to invite you to an insightful conversation that will see
k to dive into situational analysis of foundation learning in Kenya\, Mala
wi and Cameroon.\nKey Objectives of the Event\n\n	Presenting a situational
analysis of foundational learning in Kenya\, Malawi and Cameroon.\n	Ident
ify data-driven pathways for enhancing foundational learning.\n	Foster mul

ractices.\n	Discuss lessons learned from existing foundational learning in
itiatives\, using data to benchmark success\, understand challenges\, and
 inform scaling strategies.\n\n
