It will conside r how education is affected by destruction\, displacement\, fear\, and ong oing insecurity\, and what this means for those trying to teach\, learn\, and sustain academic life under such conditions.\nAt the same time\, the s ession will not only reflect on education under attack\, but as a vital sp ace of resilience\, dignity\, and hope. In the Palestinian context\, educa tion continues to represent survival\, collective strength\, and a refusal of erasure. Bringing together perspectives from Palestinian Universities\ , this discussion will highlight both the human cost of violence and the e nduring importance of education in sustaining life and possibility.\nThe w ebinar aims to foreground Palestinian academic voices and to encourage mea ningful reflection on what solidarity with Palestinian education should lo ok like in practice.\n--\nSpeaker 1: Dr Basel El-Khodary\,Islamic Universi ty of Gaza\nDr Basel El-Khodary is the Dean of the Faculty of Education an d a professor of psychology at the Islamic University of Gaza. His researc h centers on mental health\, trauma\, and resilience\, with a particular f ocus on children and adolescents in conflict zones. He is also a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society.\nSpeaker 2: TBD \nCh air: Dr Amal Rammah\, UCL\nDr Amal Rammah is Senior Research Fellow at the GOS Institute of Child Health\, University College London. Her research f ocus is on characterising structural and individual determinants of health and health inequalities among vulnerable populations in the built\, physi cal and social environments\, particularly in the areas of maternal and ch ild health.\nThis event is part of the Education\, Occupation &\; Liber ation series\, co-hosted with the University and College Union (UCU).
