 nder Siege for their final online conference on ‘Education for young peo
 ple with disabilities in Lebanon\, Palestine and Jordan’. \nThe Disabil
 ity under Siege Network final conference marks the culmination of five yea
 rs of extensive research\, networking and impact collaborations across Leb
 anon\, Palestine and Jordan. This event aims to bring people together from
  across the sector including disability activists\, practitioners\, people
  with disabilities\, academics\, and community leaders. The conference wil
 l share new research findings and best practice\, discuss the current cont
 ext and how to address urgent priorities going forward. Sessions will inco
 rporate dynamic discussions\, arts and cultural showcases\, and policy and
  practice dialogues\, designed to foster collaborative solutions and ampli
 fy the voices of those most affected by the intersection of disability\, e
 ducation and war.\nThe conference is not only a celebration of what has be
 en achieved to date\, but also an opportunity for continued advocacy\, inn
 ovation\, and solidarity in pursuit of inclusive education for children wi
 th disabilities in regions of war.\nThe Disability under Siege Network is 
 a multidisciplinary programme aiming to transform education provisions for
  children with disabilities in war-affected states\, specifically Palestin
 e (Gaza and West Bank)\, Lebanon\, and Jordan. By bringing together a wide
  range of experts from across the Middle East and the UK\, the network has
  undertaken transformative research and practical interventions that suppo
 rt disability inclusivity\, accessibility\, understanding and resilience. 
 There is also a strong focus on arts and culture as a way of increasing re
 presentation and changing perceptions of disability in the region. The pro
 gramme is funded by UKRI Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC)\, und
 er the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF).\nLanguage and signing inter
 preters\, as well as captioning\, will be in place for the duration of the
  conference to ensure the event accessible to all.\nDisability Under Siege
  recognises that the conference is occurring during a time when the region
 s we are working in are facing significant challenges. Thoughts are with a
 ll those affected by the ongoing war in these regions.\n&nbsp\;
