 orwich\, Norfolk\, NR4 7TJ.\nA joint event between BALID\, ROMLIT project 
 and the UNESCO Chair at the University of East Anglia. Join for a special 
 afternoon of celebrations\, beginning with lunch and a chance for sharing 
 your practice and research with other likeminded people.\nThere will be a 
 presentation from UEA's ROMLIT project team\, sharing their work with Gyps
 y\, Roma and Traveller families to explore and learn from their early lite
 racy practices.\nROMLIT helps unlock the potential of all children’s lit
 eracies through context-specific\, community-sensitive and relevant materi
 als and practices it helps develop. They use participatory and children-le
 d methodologies which are sensitive to the needs of parents\, carers and c
 hildren at the early years stage. ROMLIT creates training\, Continuous Pro
 fessional Development (CPD) courses and bespoke resources to serve profess
 ionals and carers who work with Gypsy\, Roma and Traveller children. They 
 explore literacies in formal and informal settings and in the everyday con
 text. They approach literacies as multifaceted and diverse social practice
 s and we research their overlap with early years children’s learning\, g
 rowing and developing as learners and human beings.
