 nce with the Yidan Prize Foundation
DESCRIPTION:On 7 October 2021\, the Yidan Prize Foundation\, the University
  of Cambridge (the REAL Centre at the Faculty of Education\, and the Intel
 lectual Forum at Jesus College) and CAMFED (the Campaign for Female Educat
 ion) are co-hosting a conference at Jesus College to spotlight the work of
  the Yidan Prize community towards creating an equitable future through ed
 ucation.\nThe event will have a strong focus on the global challenges faci
 ng education today\, considering the inequalities exposed by the pandemic 
 and the disruption exacerbated by climate change\, which disproportionatel
 y affects women and girls. There will be a spotlight on the efforts and pa
 rtnerships required to find solutions in reaching the most marginalised yo
 ung people and in re-imagining quality education for all.\nThis free confe
 rence will bring together global policymakers\, educationalists\, business
  leaders\, foundation heads\, leading academics and activists. The Honoura
 ble Julia Gillard\, Chair of the Global Partnership for Education\, and Pr
 incess Laurentien of the Netherlands\, Board Director of the Yidan Prize F
 oundation\, are among the keynote speakers alongside Yidan Prize laureates
 .\nThe conference will be live streamed\, as well as catering for an in-pe
 rson audience at Jesus College\, depending on the COVID-19 guidelines in p
