This web event, part of our COVID-19 webinar series and hosted jointly with UNICEF, will be a follow-on to the June 11 event, Responding to the Crisis of Care and Learning: ECD and COVID-19. The discussion will focus on early childhood development in humanitarian settings, zooming in on education for children aged three to six. Panellists will offer a framing of the global pre-primary education landscape and share insights into innovative examples from the field of supporting young children’s learning at home during the pandemic. They will discuss strengthening the engagement of parents and other caregivers as first responders, while examining considerations for reopening pre-primary learning spaces. The webinar will also be an opportunity for a wider discussion with INEE members through a moderated Q&A.
