  are pleased to invite you to a webinar on protecting and empowering learn
 ers\, educators\, and the systems that support them. This webinar will be 
 held twice to accommodate a variety of time zones.\nRegister for either:\n
 \n	9:00-10:00 UK time here\n\nor\n\n	17:00-18:00 UK time here\n\nWithout p
 reparedness and resilience\, continued shocks and stresses threaten to exa
 cerbate an already staggering global education crisis\, putting millions o
 f children’s futures in peril. This year’s theme for the International
  Day for Disaster Risk Reduction (IDDRR) focuses on empowering communities
 \, including children and youth\, for a more resilient future. We have an 
 opportunity to collectively advance this work within education through com
 prehensive school safety. During this webinar\,\n\n	The Global Alliance fo
 r Disaster Risk Reduction and Resilience in the Education Sector (GADRRRE
 S) will provide an overview of their mandate\, network structure\, and wil
 l profile the Comprehensive School Safety Framework as an essential framew
 ork cutting across the nexus of education\, Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR)\
 , climate\, health\, conflict and displacement. \n	Good Practices will hi
 ghlight comprehensive school safety practices across initiatives.\n	Tools 
 and recommendations for collective action will be shared followed by a Q&a
 mp\;A.\n	INEE will lead a discussion on how we can all engage in and suppo
 rt work on school safety within and beyond the global education sector foc
 using on intersectoral approaches. \n\nThe recording of the webinars and 
 all presentations will be posted on the INEE website. If you have any ques
