 y confronts the pervasive culture that frames the Global South as inherent
 ly lacking or “underdeveloped” compared to the Global North. For decad
 es\, development has been shaped by this deficit lens\, portraying communi
 ties as missing essential knowledge\, capacity\, or resources. Such framin
 g has influenced funding priorities\, policy decisions\, and the ways in w
 hich policy actors and practitioners engage with education and development
  issues. Unfortunately\, it has often led to the neglect of the strengths\
 , resilience\, and innovation that already exist at the grassroots level.\
 nThis event invites participants to interrogate and challenge these domina
 nt narratives and explore more empowering\, strength-based approaches. Thi
 s event is organised by NORRAG in partnership with the Global Health Cent
 re\, the KIX EMAP Hub and the UNESCO Chair in Comparative Education Policy
