The series continues on Thursday 30th April at 1 pm (BST) with a panel discussion on ‘Volunteer Responses to Covid-19: what can we learn moving forward?’ (see attached poster) This webinar is jointly hosted with the University of East Anglia Institute for Volunteering Research, including presentations from contrasting institutional and country contexts by Abu Bakar Samura (Sierra Leone), Cindee Crehan (UK) and Radha Poudel (Nepal), and moderated by Matt Bailey Smith (Northumbria University). We join with BALID (British Association for Literacy in Development) on Wednesday 6th May (midday BST) to host a webinar on ‘Literacy and Human Rights in Rwanda’. This will take the form of presentations by Louis Busingye and Alice Copping, with  contributions from Alex Mugabo (policy respondent) and Anuprita Shukla (academic respondent).
